The reviews are pretty good though. Rian Johnson seems to have delivered.

Wow - the reviews I just read are all very, very good.

Three tickets booked for Sunday afternoon.

You'll understand my skepticism.

Reading the reviews though I am of the impression I will need to stay off of the internet from Thursday night until Sunday...

Boyero didn't like it. Maybe that's a good sign.  :P

So weird. I managed to still no basically about The Force Awakens and only saw it last weekend.

He hates 95% of the movies he watches. Must suck to be him  :P

Finished Mindhunter. Most of it it's really great - in particular when Fincher sits in the director chair too - but I feel like most of the personal character sideplots and the conflicts within the office add very little.

Not really.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

The Witcher Netflix series has a showrunner in place, that's a good sign. They promoted one of the writers from Daredevil/Defenders.

Suffers from First Seasoning.  I think it will get better.

The actors portraying Ed Kemper and Richard Speck were fantastic, though.

Not really.

Why should I be optimistic?  The prequels were an abomination on the level of Ted Turner colorizing classic films; The Force Awakens was a shiny, yet ultimately empty and unfulfilling re-imagining--by the same unimaginative fanboi recycler of Star Trek plot devices like time travel and Khan, go fucking fig--of Episode IV, whose opening act is totally fucked up by Rogue One anyway.  And while we're shitvomiting all over franchises, let's throw in some LOTR Gollum bullshit, too.  The fuck.

I have absolutely no faith in any of these fucking assholes when it comes to these franchises anymore.  Just fucking spool up Jaws: The Revenge and fuck my childhood in the ass like it's Penn State spring football already.

MAYBE if Chewie gets to fuck Captain Phasma.  With half her armor still on.  But it'll have to be really hardcore.  Like, Rocco Siffredi hatefuck hard.  Where neither of them feel any pleasure about it.  Just breath games with her cape.  And then pulls her arms out of their sockets.
