I could watch Ian McShane and Peter Stormare chew scenery for hours, and the stuff in Chicago was absolutely awesome (although the Russian was garbage, as per usual). Crispin Glover and Gillian Anderson are amazing, and so is Corbin Bernsen as Vulcan. Overall, it's strong, but even more than that, it's strongly weird.

That's a lot of actors who were famous 20-30 years ago.

Logan (2017)

I have long believed that no one was ever going to beat the shoot-out in the maternity ward in Hard Boiled for an over the top action sequence.  This film might not quite do that, but it comes close; it's final action sequence features:

1.)  An 11 year old girl with a pistol (yes, I know what Goddard said, but I think he meant a young woman, not a child.)
2.)  A daddy-daughter killing spree (aww )
3.)  Black ops soldiers chasing down a chubby kid (run, chubby kid, run!)

I wasn't a fan of the ending [spoiler]I think it would have been more poignant if Wolverine had drifted off like Shane[/spoiler], but otherwise it was a fine action film.

No smack intended.  I just found it odd how all those names had that in common.  I mean I didn't know Corbin Bernsen was even still alive.

I tried watching The Man in the High Castle. Dull. Only interesting characters are Nazis and the Jap secret policeman.

That's what I've been saying. 

The "heroes" are boring as hell, and painful to watch.

You should try to hold up for S2 though...lot's more alt-history Nazi Reich pr0n.

Yeah, I agree.  The heroes aren't even very likable.  They just sort of exist.  I did like the Japanese secret policeman though.
