Not the first rape movie for Verhoeven [spoiler]Flesh + Blood[/spoiler]. 

Hmm, never heard of it.  Is it worthwhile?  I guess anything by Verhoeven is, just to understand his unique and consistent, if sometimes bewildering, aesthetic.

Oh yes, this is Verhoeven's movie about the transition from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance.
Very different from Elle, of course.
