Fat nerdy comic relief. It's hardly an unknown stereotype.

Will probably also hook up with an insanely hot girl that's way out of his league by the end of the movie.

Is he a life guard or a groupie/mascot?

Some googling spits out that he's some random putz that runs into Kelly Rohrbach in the beach, falls in love with her, and spends the movie trying to become a life guard to impress her.

I guess Syt's ending will apply.

Fuck what a depressing 2017 movie list.

Here's a couple for Seedy.

Whats with the guy on the right

They saw him shirtless and then said to him "Please put something on, it's not you who we want to see bouncing on slo-mo".

He's done pretty well for someone named "Dwayne." Of course, this could be a "Boy Named Sue" situation.  :hmm:

CountDeMoney

Not bad for someone who started off as a pro wrestler.

Worse than that - he started out on the practice squad for a CFL team, and got cut! :D

Until you realize that he must have spent half of it on the gym.  :P

I remember an article about his daily routine being published several months ago, and it was basically that, and eating steamed codfish.

Yeah, I read somewhere that, if you do his diet year round, you end up eating like 1/3 of a ton of cod alone. And some guy who tried it for a month said that it costed him more than one thousand dollars per month. It's expensive to eat so much (and so bland).

I read somewhere that Ahnuld when he was training ate only canned tuna fish.

He's also the only wimp wearing shoes while running on the beach.

Don't be silly; running requires proper running shoes for proper gait, support and, in this case, safety.  Running barefoot on the beach is for lifeguards and date rape victims.

Oh my. The Gartenbaukino is doing a Stanley Kubrick retrospective in October. On my birthday they show 2001 in 70mm. Would also love to catch Barry Lyndon, Paths of Glory, Spartacus in 70mm, Full Metal Jacket, Clockwork Orange, and Dr Strangelove.

Though a week earlier they have Jan Harlan, Kubrick's brother in law and executive producer for Shining, Barry Lyndon, Full Metal Jacket, and Eyes Wide Shut for a few evenings to introduce the movies and some Q&A. :hmm:

Till this coming Monday they also show the restored 4k digital version of Taxi Driver.

I like the Gartenbaukino, it's wonderfully old fashioned: it was opened in 1960 and was then the largest theater in Austria with 900 seats (now less):
