A local indy movie theatre is doing a midnight screening of Sharknado this weekend.

And to annoy Ideo, they're also showing Blackfish.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

My boss gave me like a 20 minute speech about Blackfish yesterday.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."
I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

What's annoying about Blackfish? I haven't seen it.

I want to see it and it's not showing anywhere in Columbia or even SC, but the taiga dweller can go watch it on a whim and probably won't.  WTF is this shit?

btw, for other suggestions imdbs list of 40 show to watch before you die http://www.imdb.com/list/RNdurJcLRc0/?ref_=tt_rls_1 (I endorse everything on that list I've watched except the newsroom)

:yeahright: Friends?

Braz: tough to suggest without knowing what you haven't seen.  Sopranos?  Law & Order?

Second the motion to hold of on Thrones and Bad until they've run their course.

Friends was a fine show.

Friends was passable entertainment when you had nothing else to do, on the order of 3rd Rock From The Sun.  Hardly a show you have to watch before you die.

I dunno.  It was a midpoint in the evolution of serial storytelling between week-by-week reset and the tight continuity shows have today.

And the mid-to-later seasons were extremely amusing as the characters became more and more cartoonish and refined down to one or two key, funny traits.

Yes, for somebody who has not seen Friends (if such a person exists) I would suggest they do watch it. It was entertaining, creative, fun to watch and well made. In addition to capturing the spirit of the age of course.

Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.

Friends was a good show and had some pop in its writing until Ross and Rachel finally hooked up.  Like, really.  As if that would ever fucking happen IRL.
