I haven't bought it yet, but my pre-order is still valid. Apparently.

And the server is down for another 2 hours.

Didn't they estimate 30 minutes?

Maybe I'm just having bad timing, but I've spent more time waiting for the game to be up than actually playing today.

All was fine yesterday till North America went online.  :P

Im ashamed to ask but what is the military purpose and difference between a deflector field or deflector dish?

"Deflector field" = shields.  "Deflector dish" = Star Trek giant equivalent of a sonic screwdriver.  Most of the stat affects like shield drain are done with the deflector dish.

I can create a PvP "enemy" char now. Currently watching the Gorn episode of TOS, so that would be tempting. The other races look nice, too, but I think I'll go with the gamey liberated Borg Klingon.

So since I bought the digital version, the only thing I'm waiting for is the release code in order to get my digital extras.  It's supposed to be sent out by email.  I wonder when?  Maybe even midnight tonight? (and if so, in which time zone)?

If it's a time thing, it's going to be PST.

Is there going to be a Languish Fleet? I think Beebs should head it up.
