I'm tempted to get this on tuesday, but the constant "it's down" posts are more then a bit offputting
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

Having a real tough time deciding if I want an escort or a cruiser.....  :hmm:

Help please.....  :(

I'm leaning towards cruiser. Not as much punch as the escort, but higher survivability.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

And the downtimes: isn't that standard for any new MMO? :P

P.S.: Yay, stuck at character retrieval.

Since I want my character to be DPS, I am almost sure to choose an escort. However, one thing is sure from my couple of accidental rushing forwards: you dont want to pull agro on a ship which is not meant to sustain it.

A better shot of my beautiful away team.

I like how the in quest messages are often reported by your BOffs. Sweet touch.

And I come back this morning, and the game still stalls on 'retrieving characters' :frusty:

I logged off half an hour ago, so I guess they used the opportunity to shut down. I want to log on now, so it should be up again any minute.
