It's cheaper to get to Europe than it is to a big chunk of Canada.

Not really.  For one thing, it's a similar distance.  For another, you have to take into account the surcharge that is on there because of how much Canadians hate each other, in order to discourage internal travel.

Current air canada prices make it a couple hundred dollars cheaper to fly to Toronto then to fly to London.  Now that West Jet is giving them more competition I guess prices are starting to drop.

When you consider the curvature of the earth its not as much further as you'd think.  But yeah it is further.

But it is still a fact that from WhitehorseI can get to Frankfurt for a lot less than I can get to Toronto.

Anyways, I was unable to attend the last Toronto meet due to work pressures to complete before I flew to Europe on holidays. But I should be able to do it this time around.
