I think during my time in Spain I may have seen a few people visiting a church who were not tourists

I mean I saw greater religiosity in France, but granted I was there far longer. Like there was this one family I visited who actually said grace before every meal and had all the Catholic bling everywhere. I remember being surprised they still made French people like that. So I am sure they are out there in Spain someplace.

Wasn't the biggest push back against the revolution from the religious folks? granted, that was centuries ago, but france always had a strong religious following.
