So, impeachment.

Apparently, McConnell* sent guidelines to GOP senators about the vote.  The Senate can not rule or vote on anything before the 19th, unless there is unanimous consent among the Senators to do so.  Realistically, an impeachment vote/trial would come only on the 19th, and possibly extend beyond the 20th.

It would only be useful if Congress were to vote him ineligible to occupy such functions, kinda knocking him out of the 2024 race.

I know these next few months are critical to the future of this country. We need to get as many people vaccinated as possible and the Democrats need to pass their agenda, whatever the fuck it is, soon and without delay. Fucking around like this is some kind of business as usual time will be disastrous...but I have a sinking feeling that is what Pelosi and company have in mind. So I know I will probably have to be engaged but this feels like a great time to check out because fuck all this shit.
