Twitter thinking they can censure a major world leader is pretty short sided. That is going to end very badly for them. I understand trying to protect yourself from liability but Twitter is a platform, not a publisher. They already have legal cover.

There are Twitter accounts of much worse foreign politicians that are not banned, so I don't see Twitter applying any kind of consistent policy here. On the other hand, Twitter employees are personally affected as American citizens, so acting different here is at least understandable.

The inauguration is going to be a sad affair.  National guard will probably surround the city and put up roadblocks. No big parties, no big crowds, none of it.  Just a sad, somber ceremony.  Anyone who tries to get within 5 miles of Biden with a firearm will be committing suicide.
