The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

So "the Master of the Deal" wants to join an organization after deliberately sacrificing any negotiations leverage?  I can understand why he constantly goes bankrupt.

The president replied that he "might be right" — but kept asking him to consider the idea, and said he would as well, according to Comey.

Comey said he privately wondered why Melania might think there was even a 1 percent chance the allegations were true, claiming there is "zero chance" his own wife would believe such a claim.

"In what kind of marriage, to what kind of man, does a spouse conclude there is only a 99 percent chance her husband didn't do that?" he writes in the book, which hits shelves April 17.

He works fast this Comey. Financially it's probably a very opportune time to release this book, but wouldn't it have been wiser to wait until after the Mueller investigation is finalised?

I'd think that depends entirely on his reason to publish the book.

If it is to strike while the iron is hot - that is, to add to the case in the public mind against Trump and to release the book when it will be well received by the buying public - then now's a pretty good time IMO.
