No I think they exist, for sure. You must not spend enough time on the SJW hangouts on reddit.

And you do?

Sure, for the same reason I sometimes check out r/the_donald. Sometimes the train wreck is fun in its own right.

Heh, I wonder what percentage of the forum is composed of trolls deliberately posting outrageous stuff - in both cases.  :D

I think it's like the Swedish guy a few years ago who was on the news for trying to breastfeed his baby because he wanted to "feel that connection." I think that's sort of the "Modern Man" that the_donald type crowd is targeting when they use the word "kind and sensitive person." Maybe he wouldn't literally be like "gosh, I just need to support her" if he caught his wife cheating on him, but you can see the insult-logic there.

I don't think there are actually that many people who act this way. They're basically ultra-progressive, ultra-PC types who while they exist, their numbers are overstated by a factor of ten or more by the far right.

The Minsky Moment

On the other side, one doesn't need to be Sigmund Freud to detect a current of anxiety and insecurity among the insulters.  The implication being that in the absence of traditional patriarchal attitudes, vigorously enforced, female sexuality will run amok and wives will inevitably cheat.  Somewhat ironic in light of the alt rights anti-Muslim position although not the first time a  ideology shared certain deviant mentalities with its ideological opposition.  Why an EE yuppie gay professional like Martinus would slum about with such detritus is almost inexplicable. Milo's same sex hotness must be off the charts.

They seem to be using it against conservatives quite a bit.  I think the connotation is "race traitor".
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Purity politics can be vicious, especially when driven by deep seated psychological insecurities.

So it's a good insult because it refers to an apocryphal Swedish guy from years ago?

Okay.  I guess that's what passes for thinking to some people.  The more people try to explain the "insult," the more moronic it appears.

My biggest takeaway from this thread is the meaning of kind and sensitive person.  I thought it was a corruption of either "fuck" or "cock", or a combination.

Sure, similar to the use of faggot. But it's also largely used in places like r/the_donald whose primary function is as a gathering place of internet trolls so I think it's difficult to ascribe too much motive since by definition a troll behaves disingenuously.

No, it's shorting of the word "cuckold".  Think Cuckoo clock.

That's not much of a takeaway, given that it appears to be used purely by morons, and mostly used against near-morons.

Now, if it was Monos describing near-Monos, you'd have something useful.

I have resigned to the fact that there aren't that many near-Monos in this world.

In Spanish a cuckold is a "cornudo" (somebody who has his wife cheat on him is said to "bear horns"), if you want to further extend your knowledge in this vital subject.

Aye, a cuckold has horns here too (maybe not in common use or ken).

Good. We don't really need more inhuman humans.
