I have still not played a human opponent yet, so if anyone is up for a game or two before the big tournament I'd be up for it.

I could use a game or two to get back to speed! What's your handle?

Invite sent! I have set it up according to the tourney rules we'll have.

Well, outside of DEFCON suiciding myself in my only 2 finished games I don't think I am doing that badly.

Habbaku

You were doing pretty well, yeah.

To be fair, Noriega is somewhat of a stealth DEFCON-suicide card for the USA.  It's so rare for the US to have IPs in Cuba that I think a lot of players don't see the potential downside.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Oh this looks rather cool, I'd seen the thread title and assumed it was an MMORPG or such like.

This or HOI3 ?

Possibly neither? :P TS's single player mode is only good to learn the basics, so if you don't want multiplayer, I wouldn't bother, although it is a great conversion of an excellent boardgame.

HoI3 is a big mess.

Tamas, thanks for the sage advice.

Berkut's moved on to more important things like volleyball and pussy, just like any other red-blooded American boy entering his senior year.

Solmyr

Berkut's too busy losing to me (well, he might win this current one).

Berkut

I have games going against Habs, Nels, Kiefte, and Solmyr. I am losing all of them.

I can't count cards, either.  That's why I stay out of casinos.
