It's like talking to a tired toddler.

"Do you want to go home?" - "NO!"
"Do you want to to stay here?" - "NO!"
"Do you want to go somewhere else?" - "NO!"
"Then what do you want?" - "NO!"

Now that we know what the British don't want, it will be interesting to see how the British government plans to find out what they want instead. .

Almost three fucking years ago.  :lmfao:

The week gets better. Big victory for delaying Brexit.

Time to book overseas travel for next month.

Good thing Cameron held the referendum to settle this controversial topic once and for all.  :bowler:

A fact that is sorely underreported.

What's the point?  Will the situation be different a few months down the line?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Corbyn (and Labour) seem to be actively trying to trigger a no deal Brexit, but have the Conservatives take the blame for it.

I was wrong.

Can successfully booted down the road.

Not at all. There needs to be a reason for said extension. So far there is none.

The longer we delay brexit the more kids get a chance of starting their lives and the more the  demographics and general attitudes shift against brexit ever happening.

Do you really expect the EU to say "no"?
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

The UK might one day be deemed fit to rejoin the brotherhood of nations. I'm optimistic like that. :)

There's not reason not to. We're going to get blamed regardless.

And in the end, it makes no difference. If we give another two months, May will run down the clock and present a fourth, a fifth, a sixth "meaningful" vote. Just get it over with.

Tamas

The full text of today's... thing goes something like this: If the Commons finally accept's May deal on the 20th, May will ask for a short extension so the deal can be implemented. If they refuse for the 3rd time as well, May will be asking for a long extension so that the UK will have to participate in the EU elections as punishment for the Commons' impudence.

Josquius

It makes no sense at all. Her deal was already rejected. Time to implement it was never the issue.
I guess from her POV she'll be hoping the hard right will recognise no deal isn't happening and her deal is as good as it gets. But I don't think....I hope.....their numbers won't be enough to force it through.

Nicer weather?

They already rejected a second referendum.  Brexit it will happen.
