That's not ambitious enough. I propose a Schroedinger's Brexit, where the UK can both leave and remain at the same time, thanks to the harnessed power of quantum physics and multiple realities.

Maybe my previously suggested 'Miéville Brexit' where brexit voters get to wear a special hat that clearly marks them out and means no foreigner is allowed to interact with them whilst the rest of us get on with our life?

I like the idea of a "shadow Brexit".  During the day Britain is part of the EU and everything at is fine, but at night Brexit reigns, mothers keep their children indoors, Jacob Rees-Mogg drinks the blood of the unwary, and Boris Johnson sticks bolts in his neck and does the "Monster Mash".
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Quote"We're going to replicate the 40 EU free trade agreements that exist before we leave the European Union so we've got no disruption of trade," Business Insider revealed Fox told a Conservative party fringe event in Manchester back in 2017.

"I hear people saying 'oh we won't have any [free trade agreements] before we leave'. Well, believe me, we'll have up to 40 ready for one second after midnight in March 2019," he told cheering Conservative activists.

The Trade Secretary added that "All these faint hearts saying we cannot do it — it's absolute rubbish."

However, one government official who has seen how talks are progressing told the Financial Times that Fox was not on course to be able to roll over the 40 deals he promised in time.

"Almost none of them are ready to go now and none will be ready to go by March," the official told the paper.
:bowler: Maybe it becomes all moot if Britain continues the customs union...

They  genuinely don't seem to get you can't unilaterally just decide to copy and paste a deal :bleeding:

1. If Briton - high treason.

2. If tourist - attempted assassination.

Yeah, it is pretty annoying.

Well, retired as of last May and hanging around DC waiting for things to sort themselves out.  Needless to say, we live in strange times.

It would seem there won't be a "meaningful vote" on Plan B until 10 February.

The bloody prime minister IS trying to just run down the clock.

Richard Hakluyt

Yes, she wants there to be no deal or her deal, with no room to manouevre...........but her deal annoys nearly everyone  :P

Tamas

May is talking abour the Plan B approach.

She says there are 6 main points:

1. Some MPs want to avoid no deal. They should vote on the deal then
2. Some Mps want a second referendum. There won't be one
3. There are issues with the backstop. MPs should tell her what.
4. MPs will be able to tell their opinion on the future trade deal (oh wow!) Only through select committees telling them stuff in secret though as it'll be all very hush-hush.

last two coming up, THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!
