Also a few polls that really put the lie to the whole Bregret idea. According to them the UK would still vote to Leave.

Latest Westminster poll:
Tories - 42%
Labour - 28%
UKIP - 12%
Lib Dems - 8%
Other - 10%

Edit: That would give the Tories a majority of 86 and Labour under 200 seats. If they keep Corbyn, it will get worse.

:weep:

It's really extraordinary that despite being the only totally pro-European party in a country where 48% wanted to Remain and the only opposition party not to have collapsed into factional infighting and organisational chaos, the Lib Dems still can't convince people to trust them again  :console:

The Greens should really be taking their que.
But they are not.

Why vote Green when Corbyn's running Labour? They're the only party I can see him winning votes from.

Corbyn is a traitor to working people with his half arsed efforts in the referendum.
If labour had another leader it could really have made the difference

The Greens have always had a decent anti-EU wing though, see Jenny Jones. Plus given that they support a zero growth economy I'm not convinced they care about workers either.

Leave brands I've ever used: 1/10 Is Birds Eye a UK or American brand?

Remain brands I've ever used: 0/10

Leave brands I've ever heard of: 4/10 Only heard of Iceland because of the post about tweets congratulating Iceland for fodbol.

Remain brands I've ever heard of: 8/10.

Why would anyone vote UKIP? They won, right?
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

Not liking brown sauce...I've long known some.
But not liking gravy...That's just uncalled for.

You can like gravy (I love it) but never use Bisto. Why on earth anyone would make gravy from powder when it's easier to make it from pan juices is a mystery to me.

I've never encountered anti-EU greens tbh. Only ever see the very pro-EU side.
The zero growth stuff is as is typical for the greens going too far. But then they're never likely to get into power, as a junior partner in a coalition or even a recognised opposition voice they could do some good though.

I've no idea how to make it from scratch. I don't think I'm alone in that.

Seriously? Take the meat out of the roasting pan to rest. Put pan on hob at low temperature. Add a bit of wine/sherry or water if you don't have any. Scrape at the bits of meat stuck on the pan. Add some flour is you want it thicker. Season. Serve. Loads of variants around this, but that's the basis. It will taste way better than Bisto or Oxo

Bisto is kind of helpful for when you're eating a meal that doesn't have pan juices though.

Is it like Bovril? My grannie loved using that...

Co-op gravy salt used to be my family's "go to" to assist the pan juices or stew water.
