It depends whether they notice or not. Farage tends to clean up on the low knowledge demographic.

It does seem weird given they're his prime target.

I think it's the clearest sign that they think they might win.

The remarkable ability of the British voters to strategically vote gives me hope they will not.

But things will be dramatically different by the time the next election rolls around and probably not for the better...so who knows? Maybe people will be desperate enough to give them a shot and then they will make things much worse.

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

Tactical voting cuts both ways. Labour's strategy appears to be to run as the "stop Farage" party (and piss away one of the biggest majorities in history doing...nothing?), which makes sense.

But it stops making sense if the Greens are polling second ahead of Labour as has happened in at least one poll now.

If it becomes a tactical voting face off between "stop Farage" and "stop Polanski", then I'm not sure who wins.

(Incidentally on our politics as an American satrapy absolutely mad to see Zack Polanski interviewing Hasan Piker on his podcast or, say, Jeremy Corbyn holding a phone-banking event for Mamdani.)
