Maybe Little Brits?

Little Britain is also deemed beyond the pale now. It's all very complicated.

It's not as if it wasn't already a bit sketchy originally.  :P

I saw my first full episode about a month ago. There's no ambiguity.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."
I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Yeah and I remember a fair few people being troubled by it at the time. I have issues with Owen Jones but Chavs is an excellent book and amazing for someone's first book and I remember it expressing a lot of what I felt about Little Britain which I was never comfortable with.

On the other hand I was a fan of Mighty Boosh and League of Gentlemen.

If you've seen one you've seen them all. And then you also know I was quoting a sketch, not taking sides :)

No, I didn't. Wiped it from my mind, as much as I could. -_-

Would not expect this sort of treachery with someone from England's oldest ally! :o

An interesting article on Robert Clive and his statue, which stands outside the Foreign Office :

Like many of these controversial statues it was erected long after the event.

Treachery as this one?

Or the 1966 World Cup?

Granted, the latter, though worse  :P did not just affect allies.

Don't get entangled with the Spanish (and/or French) :contract: :P

Prime Minister Cummings tolerates NO dissent!

QuoteEngland's chief nurse, Ruth May, was dropped from one of Downing Street's daily coronavirus briefings after refusing to publicly back Dominic Cummings behaviour during the lockdown, according to the Independent.

A senior NHS source was quoted as saying:

A No 10 Spad [special adviser] asked her directly how she would answer the Dominic Cummings question and she refused to play along and told them she would answer the same way as Jonathan Van-Tam. She was dropped immediately from the press briefing.
