Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

His words would prove prophetic as the Battle of Verdun entered a new stage.

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

I still haven't voted in this poll. Is there still time?

I wonder if any of the 7 UK Leave voters are still around. And how they think about it now.

Age is still here.

Plus IIRC a few months ago it turned out at least two of those votes were Languishites misreading the poll question or making the wrong click with the mouse.

I totally missed the ROTW bottom choices.

Well, for the first time since 2004, I once again live outside of the European Union.

For the first time since 2004 you are in control.

Leave votes from Europe were no mistakes though.  At least two of them.  :P

I don't like it. It's cold. Let me back in.

At least the occasion was marked well.

And Spain is now making a strong push to get Gibraltar.

What? There's nothing being reported here on that.

I guess the EU backing a member over a non-member is to be expected.

IIRC the first reaction of the Tories on this when it came up in 2017 was strongly hinting at military action.

Maybe England can ally with the Catalans, and Spain with Scotland, and have a good old-fashioned 17th century dust-up!

I know you joke. But be careful there.  A lot of Brexiters rally would be quite fine with this.
Remember when they bizzarely started supporting the Catalan independence side out of their referendum en-masse, oblivious of the fact they explicitly wanted to be an EU member and the EU had nothing to do with any of it ?

According to the article Spain is not trying to get Gibraltar. It is simply excluding it from a future EU-UK treaty, so that only Spain and UK decide how the relationship works.
