They're the ball sack to Sweden's flaccid cock.

That's in the official membership criteria?

Finland was pretty quick to join once the Cold War was over. For obvious reasons they weren't going to join while the USSR was still around.

Yes.

That's very discriminatory towards non ball sack shaped countries.

Dumb stamp to shade UK white and leave Norway, Switzerland, the Balkantard countries, and various eastern European states off.

Those are not part of the EU.

Then don't show the UK (post Brexit).

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

On a stamp commemorating Brexit?

You and syt can play dumb, but it is clearly a stamp and map conceived with the intention of celebrating the removal of UK from the EU and making fun of the UK.

It is a map that shows a big block of countries in the EU, and a small UK out of it. Ignoring the significant portions of Europe that are not part of the EU emphasizes this difference. If you aren't going to show absent countries from the EU, not showing the UK is a perfectly reasonable way to commemorate Brexit--"hey these are our new borders now". As the map is drawn looks petty.

It's commemorating the UK leaving the EU.  Hard to do it without showing the UK.

Well then don't use that stamp when mailing letters in Austria. That will show them.

It is absolutely petty but it was the rhetoric of the nationalists in the UK that help to stoke this kind of pettiness and national disdain back in Europe.

I think it is an example that the childishness and pigheadedness the british government has been showing on this topic the past few years extends to EU governments as well.

Ah yeah. Hard to show contempt for continental subhumans and not trigger a nationalistic response from said continentals.

Europe as depicted on euros excludes non EU places too.
Showing the UK transitioning to being one of these makes sense.

Apparently the EU commission will propose an association agreement which will regulate governance and dispute settlement first and then do sectoral agreements within this framework.

I think it is a sad historical mistake that the UK is leaving the EU today. Britain and Europe will be weaker, there is no tangible benefit to Brexit. I bet even immigration will not lessen much as globalization is an unstoppable historical force. Britain and the EU share much more than what divides them, but sadly the focus in Britain was much more on the latter. This event should serve as a warning about the power and long-term corrosive effect of a relentless propaganda campaign.
