I love these sort of deep thoughts that put our tiny little lives in perspective.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. Fauci never even said anything that out of line with what the other doctors around the world were saying did he? I never understood why he in particular became a villain.

But then I just talked to some doctors I knew personally and followed their advice, I wasn't paying much attention to what the news was saying. I suddenly had to home school a 2nd and 3rd grader.

He became a villain when he was caught on camera laughing when Trump said something stupid.

I don't know about other countries (though I'm curious. Anyone?) but in the UK our chief medical officer during covid also recieved (recieves) a lot of shit from conspiracy nuts.
I guess it's to be expected in a country where such views are more mainstream the level of insane hate would be too?
