Two California teenagers placed a pair of eyeglasses on the ground at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art as a prank. Visitors were soon treating the glasses as art.

:D

I used to do stuff like that with friends while living in Italy. Point excitedly at random objects with a guide book in hand and within minutes you'll have (mostly Asian) tourists lining up to take pictures and pose in front of it. Good times.

No museum label = no art!

I need a figure of authority telling me something is art, in order for me to treat it as art

I always wondered what kind of people pay money to look at a peanut butter floor because someone says it's art. Now I know  :P

I wonder who the Scottish people living in Buckingham palace are.

That in itself would be art.  A commentary on the emptiness of the modern condition.  Or something.

I notice they don't have 'Ease of working with'. Denmark would fail hard on that if Novo is any indication. :P

I don't get the whole thing of taking pictures of stuff in museums.

I like that peanut butter one, that takes some mad artistic skillz.

The museum bought it for 100,000 euros. I guess it was more expensive to clean the room.
