Colleague brought a business card from the convention - on the back is a house, and a CR code for an app download. If you download the app you can hold the card under the phone and get a 3D model of the house showing up on the card as augmented reality. Dipping the phone will remove/bring back layers and you can view the property from all angles and see the floor plans.

I remember in the early 90s I was really impressed by a museum having touch screen displays.

Just chuck it into a wok along with a couple more consonants and vowels.

Or is it dwarf you're planning on cooking?

Bah. I screwed up my knee slipping and falling on it. According to the x-ray report there is no "acute bony fracture", but there is a "suprapatellar bursal effusion".

I'm discovering the hard way just how many stairs there are in my life ...

Yeah, suprapatellar bursal effusions are a bitch.

Venus also rotates in the opposite direction than the rest of the planets IIRC.

Tea as an analogy for sexual consent. Very clever, very British.

Never before has a British person so overtly said he was going to masturbate.

I saw this before when mentioned on buzzfeed (yes, buzzfeed, Raz) and still so good. :)

My employee pointed out that now no one in the team will be able to seriously ask if anyone else wants a cup of tea.

So last night coming home I made a mad sprint for a bus.  Made it, but sat down and went "uh oh" - my iPhone was missing.

So as soon as I got home I got in my van and drove back to that spot, hoping to find where it had fallen out.  No luck.

But... my wife calls my cell, and someone answers it!  They had found it and picked it up, hoping someone would call.

A quick drive over and I get my iPhone back.

There are nice people in the world.  :)
