Three series left in the season. The Orioles are on a hot streak but the tight race to keep from finishing last in the AL East will probably come down to the wire.

This is so out of anything I've ever experienced before.

The Royals are just cruising into the playoffs.  I mean, I guess they're in a race with Toronto for overall home field advantage in a hypothetical ALCS matchup, but it's hardly the same as last year's tight race.

Too bad we don't have a dedicated MLB thread.  Maybe someone should start one?

the Jays hit a home run. Looks like they are actually doing well this year.

Have you been living under a rock the last few months?

When it comes to pro sports - yep.  :D I hardly ever notice them, unless they are brought to my attention somehow.

I was just surprsied that, watching ten minutes of a random game, it was (by pure chance) the exact right ten minutes.
the bandwagoners are going to be oh so annoying.

That will be nothing to what would happen if the Leafs ever start winning.

Probably a "C" grade or worse, unless you include a Cirque du Soleil show.

Grey Fox

Canadian musical acts are just like American musical acts. It's the same artists & the same tours.

Canadians seem to have a higher ratio of generally mocked bands and artists(Bieber/Dion/Nickelback/Snow) to well-respected ones(Neil Young, arguably Rush and Drake).

Higher than who?

As opposed to the solid musical showings from Europe as revealed by Eurovision?  :hmm:
