Well, there's no cleaning service in my vicinity (up to 15 minutes walk) that is open during my off hours. The ones that are (e.g. weekends, or before 8 am or after 6 pm) are 20+ minutes away and will come at 50-75€ per month if I go through 4-5 shirts per week.

I rather iron myself, then.

Yeah, wtf. Ten minutes of ironing on Sunday evening sorts out the entire week.
Even if it was free, going to a cleaning service would be a net loss.

The Brain

Yeah, cause taking the jobs of poor people is awesome.

Given they've never had my business in the first time, I guess that would be quite a feat.

I have to bring my suits there anyway, so why not bring the shirts there too? For me, it's certainly a net gain in convenience.

Josquius

Suits really should be machine washable as standard

Well yes, that would be different.

Holy Jesus H Aerosolized Christ...here, in America, we actually have products that get wrinkles out of shirts.  Designed for travel.  Moron- and young person-proof.

Dockers and any collared shirt should be acceptable work clothes as standard.

Oh, who am I kidding. Sweat pants and t-shirts.

At least make it jeans and t-shirts.  Draw the line somewhere, man.   :P

Nah, screw that. Shorts and t-shirts!  :w00t:

I went to the beach today.
This place is indeed French.
There were boobies.
