Yay I have a fun trip to San Francisco in a couple hours. I refuse to give her a hard time over this until after.

You're a hero; trade this new found status for lots of sex.  :P

I'm not gonna lie.  I used to sit around for hours and HOURS using the rulebooks to generate star systems. :nerd:

I used to design ships with High Guard. And with the Mercenary book, make up Merc units.

Don't ask what I did with FASA's starship construction manual.

We've got a slight emergency in the MIM household. We have a trip all planned and plane tickets and airbnb places paid, but the someone realized her passport was expired. By six weeks.

I am focusing on being supportive and awesome, because that's me. But she's freaking the fuck out. Our flight to Vienna is in eight days and she's got an expired passport.

I think we'll be driving to the passport office in San Francisco tonight or tomorrow.
Can't you just pay for an emergency passport?

This website suggests you can pay to get same day...

Yeah I get the impression she can get in the office and leave with it. It's three hours away, of course.  :P

The cat brought a mouse in from the ravine last night. I don't know for sure where it is, but the cat is now stalking under my bed. So I guess that's it. I'm not liking the idea of leaving town for a day and a half with the stalking still going on, but I might not have a choice.

Bring the cat with you on the road trip, what could possibly go wrong?

Syt will be so disappointed if I show up next week without her though.

Only Tonitrus and Brazen have met Mrs. MIM. It's an exclusive club.  :D

Received a flyer from a new delivery service in my area. "Royal American Diner"

They have burgers and pizza, mostly. Surprisingly, they're the first delivery service here that offers to put frankfurters into the crust. I am: tempted.
