Marty finally blocked me on Facebook.  I never actually talked to him or anything like that, I was just wondering how long he would leave me on there as his "friend".  Now I don't get nearly as much "Pink News".
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Lots of Lucosade and IrnBru and your other British Gatorade-style beverages.  That's really the only time I drink them, but they always make me feel much better.  I think being sparing with starches, even food generally, helps.  When you do eat, spicy is good.  No dairy.  Sleep and stay under warm blankets as much as humanly possible.  My medieval inclinations say avoid fresh air and water to the extent practical: when you need to bathe, do so before bed; dress warmly when you leave the house.  Don't treat the symptoms with medicine unless you have to.

Interesting. My approach is more Victorian. A bracing wind will air the room and do me well. So the windows are open and I went for a walk because it was clement.

I've not had a great deal to eat, but have had an ungodly amount tea, hot toddies and Lemsips :blush:

I'm going to eliminate all rich foods from my diet for a while and will try the IrnBru tip.

Edit: On the other hand there's a ton of Poirot on ITV Player so I've got my sickdays planned :w00t:
