I need these.  My wife isn't into crochet, but some of her friends are :hmm:

I have a pair.  They're pretty warm.  :D
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I would want the VK 3001 version.  I would name them  Max and Moritz.

The 128mm gun might cause problems walking, though.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Do you get in a shin-kicking contest with your neighbour, who wears T-34s?  :hmm:

I'm guessing KV-2s would do a good job of keeping your ankles warm.

They might keep your ankles warm, but you wouldn't be able to move them when your legs are elevated.

Some people (actually it seems almost exclusively women) pronounce the word school as nearly two syllables. Skew-wuhl. What part of the country does this come from?

I think I'm getting over my illness, I found myself craving a pizza today. 3 days without eating more than a banana....I think I may have lost a bit of weight there, even despite the inactivity.

I don't think it was the flu, temperature was generally OK and there was a lot more emphasis on the pooping and dehydration.
First theory was norovirus (oh the irony) but I suspect it was a lesser stomach bug
