I just bought a multi-plug power strip. I notice on the back it says not to use it with a microwave.
Why? :s

Probably something to do with overloading the strip.

Microwaves use immense electrical power compared to other appliances, IIRC.  I think I remember the lights dimming in some places I've lived whenever I "nuked" something.

hmm, I certainly can't use my microwave and heater at the same time here or else the power cuts out.
So no actual danger, just the strip might break?

Ballsack.
The scroll wheel on my mouse just stopped working for no reason. All resistance in it suddenly went. Yet the button still works for some reason. :hmm:

I wanted to install a new movie player on my Android tablet yesterday, because it has trouble playing some files. The download/install from Google Play for two players didn't work (though it said they were now installed). Eventually I had to reset the tablet completely (no problem, because I didn't have much stuff on it, anyways) and link it with my Google account again. Tried installing again - now it works.

I pick up my cell phone this morning - it also has the players installed now. I think I should deactivate automatic synchronization when I do stuff like this.

Someone made of a thread for photos of New York in the seventies but I can't find it. <_<

Have you tried using the search function? Term: "70s" and search in thread titles only.

You lazy git.

Facebook prompted me to finish my profile, among the questions was "Who inspires you?" Pre-chosen options were Martin Scorsese, Eva Mendez and Jenna fucking Jameson.

It's creepy as hell. Looks like a poster for a horror movie, something about a bad seed.
