One goofy Gulf state air force was still flying Hunters in S&T's Oil War.  2-1 space filler.

Those Hunters have four 30mm ADEN cannons.  What's not to like. :menace:

How can you possibly put that ugly ass Lightning with a Hunter. You should be ashamed.

My local airfield used to fly Hunters for the Fleet Air Arm, then until very recently there were a couple in civilian hands that were based there, so I've seen a fair few flying about here over the years.

Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.

He was never serious about that.

What is your obsession with owning the most worthless parts of Mexico?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Polk is one of the best presidents, but as a little girl, he's one of the worst.

You really have to play up his dark horse candidacy and unwillingness to share

The provinces on the Rio Grand have always been prosperous. The South certainly had their eyes on them for a long time.

Wouldn't they be even more prosperous after 160 years of American rule.

Nuevo Leon is pretty well off as has been the industrial center of Mexico with Monterrey the centerpiece.
