And please, don't confuse Guantanamo with Abu Ghraib.

For real ?

For real.
There's a substantial difference.  Of course, not to weenies like you, but there is.

No, that Lusti might have done some work at  Abu Ghraib.

Nope.

Yeah I was sure I hadn't misremembered the stuff you did in the desert, like manning the Kuwaiti borders/access and stopping the Seigy's of this world returning with chinese 127mm artillery rockets in their kit-bags.

Talking about Kuwait and Seige, he was in the same base as me and he did not read his PMs until after he left. <_<

Yeah, a pity, would have made a pretty neat Languish meet, especially given the context.

You don't remember the pic for the "panties on head" meme?

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.

What a pretentious douche, Captain and Coke is a classic.

From the article:

QuoteCinema Highball, a rum and Coke made with buttered-popcorn-infused rum.

:bleeding:
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

Somehow I don't think this is how it happened. :hmm:

Should I ?

Maybe this place is now old enough that it needs an official chronicler?

I think I nearly killed myself. My computer power switch is broken and my quick fix of hitting no longer works/is forgotten (not sure which). As such I had to jump the motherboard with a pair of scissors. This felt like a freaking scary thing to do, poking about in my computer in unnatural ways like that. I had a moment of uncertainty about which way the PSU was on and off (was the line in or out....) which didn't help either.
But it worked. It turned on. Yey!
It was only later I noticed the whole of the pair of scissors were made of metal, not just the tip. I nearly electrocuted myself. Woops...

(probally not, I think the current on that little jumper is just a few wee watsits right?)
