The three way battles between Confederates, Unionists and Independistas in those states would be a fascinating addition to the Civil War. They would make the fighting in Missouri look orderly in comparison.

Fuck you.

We need to grant independence to Puerto Rico and then deport Tim there.

edit: sorry if it's already been suggested.  I'd be surprised if it hadn't.

Haven't you already succeeded in deporting Tim to South Korea?  Why do you want to bring him back to this continent?

The world would be much better if Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean had been annexed by the United States.

In the sense that without Canada, people in the US wouldnt fully understand just how big a mistake it was to have their rebellion?

Puerto Rico probably has worse internet connectivity.

Is there any place with better Internet connectivity than Korea?

I think Finland might.

I didn't know Marg and Homer were named after his parents. LOL...Not sure if that's a tribute or not. Anyways, shame about his mother. :(

Probably not, but I was including mainland US in my thinking.

Hell, I didn't even see that. Homer, Maggie, Lisa, hell even "Wiggum".

I just saw the last name, and that she had a son named Matt...

I wonder why Mark was switched to Bart. :hmm:

Bart was intended as an anagram for "brat".
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

You are correct to question the underlying assumption.  Even with the existence of Canada, the average American is so unaware of the outside world that they still dont know any better.

I don't see how becoming the most powerful nation on Earth was bad for Americans.

But seriously, I am happy with Canada/Mexico as they are.  Sure, many parts of Mexico might be better if they were "American"...(woohoo, Baja beaches baby!)...and Canada is just too cute...but different nations are fine.

Just get rid of the narco mafias, maple syrup raiders and other misfits, and all would be good.
