That reminds me, a couple of weeks ago, over text to Africa I explained in horrific detail the hierarchy of rank of noble titles in Europe, with examples of imperial titles (e.g., tsar of Russia, kaiser of the German Empire, Empress of India), with a brief detour into the story of how the Elector or Prince or whatever of Brandenburg secured a royal title but only outside of the Empire, after the acquisition of Prussia.

It's just a naming convention.  E.g. Korea; or to go way back Italy (in theory, anyway, as this was pre-Languish); and if I'd dated the SE Asian girl, she'd have been Vietnam.  I guess it's complicated by the unfortunate fact that I don't know which country or ethnic group in Africa her family descends from (and the answer is undoubtedly "several," although at a guess I'd say predominately Igbo or similar).

It's only an issue if I dated another Korean-, Italian-, or African-American woman, or an undifferentiated European woman, at which point I guess I'd have to come up with a new system based on something ridiculous, like personal traits.
