Found this link over on BGG, figured some of you would get a kick out of it:

The entire US Army history series, including the "Green Book" series on WW2, all in downloadable .pdf.

Gonna try to dig up the Navy ones now.

This kinda makes me mad about this past Sunday.  I had lunch at Wendy's and ordered a baconator, but they gave me a fucking single.  I was going to go say something but there were too may disgustingly fat old church ladies in line, and it was taking each one like 10 minutes to place her order.  I don't get how people that weigh 400+ pounds can possibly be picky about food.

I did get a free frosty though.

The 510-calorie sundae—vanilla soft serve topped with fudge, caramel, bacon crumbles and a piece of bacon—has 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar.

Cycled past a heath this afternoon, about five or six miles from home, didn't know there'd been a wartime bombing range in the New Forest, where they tested Tallboy and Grandslam earthquake bombs as well as upkeep bouncing bombs.

This is supposed to be the water filled crater from a Tallboy test:

Zoom out  and also head north of the small forest to see more craters and target markings.

They even built a mock concrete submarine pen on the range, have yet to find a definitive location for the grandslam test, supposedly it left a 130ft wide crater.

If it weren't for the bacon it would look great. As, is though...  :yucky:

Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.

Maybe it's because we've never had any around Maryland until very recently, but I sorta like them.  I think Checkers is better, though.

Then again, I have an absolute, irrational, crackhead weakness for cheeseburgers, so don't trust my judgement.  Even the shittiest ones on the planet.  OMG HAS THAT ROYAL FARMS CHEESEBURGER SLIDER BEEN UNDER THE WARMER FOR 9 HOURS LEMME TAKE THAT OFF YOUR HANDS
