Do you have a quota of stupid pictures you have to post per week or something?

 For once, I wish I had some speakers. I don't want to sit at the computer with earbuds on necessarily, but it is deathly quiet with the dashing young prince gone, and there is nothing to eat and I feel a sort of wave of despair crushing me.

I ought to take a walk, but its so easy to linger here. I'd need to shave or something before facing the outside world. And besides, it's not as if I could really strike up a conversation with the yokels outside.

I cannot eat until I write a poem, by my own edict, but something took the floor out of my project- would it be insensate and horrible to write a sonnet just to release myself from my obligation? Promises, even ones we make to ourselves, should be kept.

I am overly fond of the words malaise, ennui, languor, and so on- they too-perfectly fit, those words that only really belong with academics who haven't done honest labour.
