Just to do something totally random, I visited General Joseph Hooker's grave today :D

Yeah.  I was going through my "Phil Sheridan" phase when that pic was taken.

TV back when was brainier than today. A cable channel is showing a 1960s discussion between Ernst Bloch and Gabriel Marcel about Hope vs. Despair.
