Not but slang referring to the green-ness of money is going away since we don't use cash as much anymore...well that and not all of our bills are green anymore.

The English Greens are nuts. They have the excellent core value of protecting the environment.... But they often do this more harm than good with stupid policies. Opposing new train lines that will massively cut fossil fuels because it means chopping down a few trees for instance.

Purely from a foreign policy perspective I think they are by some distance the most admirable/impressive Germany party (though there are still issues).

And it'd be great if they won because energy transition is going to be challenging for Europe, so it'd be great to have a leading country focused on that. Especially after the Commission's draft document thinking around ESG regulations in Europe which considers gas "clean energy"

One thing they want to do is stop the Nordstream 2 pipeline. That might be a hard sell in any possible coalition though.

One other thought - aren't the Greens quite close to the HDP in Turkey? Which would be quite the shift in a German government.
