Were these uniforms introduced in the 18th century? I mostly associate them with the early 1800s. :unsure:

Do you mean the red uniforms in general or that specific uniform for that specific regiment and so on?

This uniform type with the tall shako. I know that the English were using red uniform coats for longer than that.
