The game seems skippable from the review as it doesn't sound all that fun.

Lack of quicksave in a modern game is unacceptable.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I thought the game sounded really interesting and ambitious - but also the kind of game I no longer have the time to play.

The stuff about "no blacks in medieval bohemia" was one paragraph in the entire article that was mostly positive.

Yeah I'd be tempted but I don't have time for lack of quicksave

I was interested in the concept, but the first person shooter (sword swinger) is a negative.

Honestly, I was thinking of getting it.  "Gamergater developer" throws me though.  I despise that bullshit.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

While the developer Daniel Vavra does indeed proudly identify himself with as being pro-GamerGate, this article does make him seem a bit more nuanced and thoughtful (while still being pro-GamerGate).

I can't help but feel you just pulled a black woman's name out of a hat. :P

I have been watching a lot of archer lately :D

Not that the painting looks like Lana.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

I much prefer his portrait to hers.

Perhaps the Barack Obama artist's earlier work depicting women of colour is more to your taste:

Admiral Yi

Ed Anger

I would pay the artist a crisp 100 dollar bill to paint me disembowling Tim.
