My tube station had a suspicious package outside it so stuck inside. I live pretty close to it so not sure that I should go home even when trains take us away. Likely will head to a pub for a while.

I had been at the top of escalators when I noticed gates were closed and no one was leaving. TfL employee told us to go back down to platforms. I was only one running down the escalator. Then we were trapped on station for a while till enough trains came to evacuate us.

Chatted with this English woman while watching Twitter for news. We both discussed how everyone was so calm and we had a conversation full of laughs till we left.

You could call it tube station when your audience is primarily English and subway station when it's primarily American, say, on Languish. That's not being difficult.
