Savonarola

Glad to hear that, Raz.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

Another thing that I learned from The Henry Ford magazine is that the original machinery to make lined paper was developed by W.O. Hickok in the middle of the 19th century.  Prior to that lined paper (used at that time mostly for ledger books) had to be done by hand with dip pens and cylindrical rulers.  The W.O. Hickok Manufacturing Company is not only still in business, but still makes machinery to make lined paper (among other things.)

I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

You probably have to be an American sports fan to get this, but I think this is too good to hide in an NCAA basketball thread.

Last year I backed a Kickstarter for a Nurgle Blood Bowl team from Willy Miniatures; due to copyright nonsense they called the team Lords of Corruption.  One of the stretch goals of the campaign was a Head Coach model; until recently there was no "coach" in Blood Bowl so it wasn't anything that was really part of a team, just a reward for backing the campaign and something to paint up and show off.

That has changed so I decided to paint my dude, but I'm not very creative or a very good painter so I decided to Google search for some images of "lords of corruption coach" to see if there were any ideas out there.

14 of the first 16 images that came up were related to Willy Miniatures Blood Bowl models (11 of those were the Lords of Corruption, and 4 of those were of the coach model), the 15th was some random fantasy themed miniature model.

The 16th was a picture of Roy Williams, head basketball coach at University of North Carolina, shaking the hand of  Jim Boeheim, head basketball coach at Syracuse University.
