Personally, I plan on braiding my armpit hair, or perhaps using it for a really long comb-over when I get more bald.

Shaving (or for males trimming) armpits seems to be the norm for younger males and all females in Germany as far as I can tell. I got used to it and now it just doesn't feel right if I haven't shaved it for a week or so.

Yeah, I've noticed when I go a week or two without shaving my face that it itches like crazy.
