It never ceases to amaze me how evil the cops look on purpose, when did they think black was a better look than blue?

Someone tried to burn down the governor's mansion in Pennsylvania.  Shapiro and family are all right.

I have the house to myself next week. Joyous. A week sleeping alone in a king sized bed, unharassed, rather than on the top bunk with a few wakeups per night.

Wow that will be glorious. On my end, since my kid has switched to mostly sleeping through the night but getting up randomly between 6 and 7 am, I have decided to experiment with giving up on trying to have some free time during the night and instead going to sleep when he does and waking up at 5. It's working, more or less. I get to have a coffee and breakfast in peace, and my days are spent in a uniform daze of sleepiness instead of the the random range of mild to severe sleep deprivation

Here I was hoping when the youngest is a year or two older I'd start sleeping again. If it was just the eldest it wouldn't be as bad- occasional all night sleeps.

Yes, exactly so. The paradox of being a good parent is it means that your child will be independent of you. It is the most difficult lesson for parents to learn and some never do.
