Storms and Cicadas.  Great.  I hate those little bugs.  Every 13 years you get millions of them all over the place.  It's extremely unpleasant to see thousands of them clinging to the side of my house.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I would pay basically any amount of money for an Atom Heart Mother-length song that's just Michael Bolton summarizing movies he's watched.

Or to fuck the model portraying Bolton-Montana's "basehead wife," while we're at it.

Back in 1998 there was this grand conjunction of Cicadas.  The 13 year brood and the 17 year brood appeared all at once.  It was fucking creepy.  The ground looked like it was moving and branches were crashing from trees under the weight of them all.  And the noise!  There was no where to go to get away from the deafening sound of them all.
