Incidentally I hear Wendy's is coming to the UK. I remember trying it in Japan. It was rather good.
We seem to be getting all the big American chains these days.

But dear lord, not Five Guys. That stuff upsets my digestion for days, and their fries are awful. I'd take Burger King over them.

Please tell me that Waffle Window still lives. 

Alive and doing well, from everything I've heard. Given their business model (window ordering; outside seating), they were pretty much tailor-made for social distancing and take-out style dining.

Wendy's is probably the best of the major burger chains in the US, IMO.  I have one right by the house.  It's literally the only fast food I've had since the pandemic began.

When I lived in Singapore, I almost only ate Asian food. But once in a while, I went to Wendy's and got a hamburger.

Nah. Their burgers are mediocre. Great fries and chicken sandwiches though.

The only burger I ever ate were the ones from  Julie's Pantry at the motorway services on the way in to do London jobs.

They were quite tasty, especially in the early morning, pre-6am.

Easily the best of the big chains.
