2 19year old female football players in Lower Austria noticed their coach was secretly filming them under the shower, and that he had done so for years (including underage players).

Prosecution have stopped their investigations. Apparently, what he did wasn't a criminal act, because he didn't seek to profit from the videos, and because he didn't distribute them.

He was suspended by the club, but the club asked everyone (especially the ones who reported him) to write letters thanking him for his years of service.

He might still be slapped with an administrative fine of up to €50,000, because he violated the players' privacy.

Ok the prosecutors have to follow the law, it sucks but if it's not illegal there's only so much they can do, but wtf is the club thinking.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

Well, it's a breach of privacy laws, so a fine will likely be levied, but it's apparently not a crime. Which I find pretty messed up.
