Cal--That JB commercial with Mila Kunis is great. She'll be in her 40s when she picks up that barrel, but I'd still party with her.  :P
The word on the inside is that the ad campaign with her is a giant mistake.

I found it awkward.  Yeah, she's smoking hot.  But JB?

She's Russian, so she should be doing vodka commercials instead.

After years of badgering by my ophthalmologist, I broke down and decided to give daily disposable contacts a try.  I had been using extended wear night/day lenses but they've been giving me problems.  So far, so good but it still feels weird to throw them out every day.

Also finally ordered some new glasses.  Instead of paying like 500 bucks at the optician, I went with some internet company and ordered two pair for $62 shipped.  Reviews seem to indicate they at least get the lenses right.  And I'll just wear them around the house here & there, so I don't really care if they look goofy.  Might give my kids something to laugh at.

I tried daily wear, dercontacts, but quite frankly I felt they dried out far too quickly.  I'd put them in around 6am or so, and they were downright uncomfortable by 8pm.

I hate that song.

I also hate sucralose.  Those commie fucks at Publix pulled one over on me with their store brand diet coke.  No wonder I've felt sick the past couple of days.  I thought I was just tired and a bit overworked.

Also, this is weird:

On Wednesday, the mail brings me a "personal" invitation to apply for a Visa Black card.  Annual fee is a low, low $495.

On Thursday, the mail brings me an offer to "save 30%" by refinancing my payday loan.

I feel a blog post about corner cases and the weakness of credit reporting coming on. :P

If you had my eye doctor he'd be scolding you for daring to keep them in that late.

So far I've been able to wear these til midnight with no issues.  They are definitely more comfortable than the Air Optix Night & Day lenses I had been using.  I'm guessing they're thinner.

It's probably not the contacts, but your eyes. When I get tired and mine start bothering me, taking them out and washing/moistening them only buys me like half an hour.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Yeah.  It's not believable that she'd be a fan of Jim Beam.  Apparently there was an attempt to sign Willie Nelson but it didn't work for some reason. :alberta:
