Just heard on NPR that some new OSHA rule is going to mean no more trainers bopping around with killer whales at Seaworld.

I noticed that I tore my jeans pretty bad.  I don't think they are any good anymore. :(
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

QuoteOn Monday night, O'Reilly Factor host Bill O'Reilly and Fox News host Megyn Kelly sat down to discuss what really happened at UC Davis on Friday and whether campus police acted appropriately in showering a group of sitting students with pepper spray. Their conclusion? No big deal.

"Pepper spray, that just burns your eyes, right?" O'Reilly asked Kelly.

"Right," Kelly said. "I mean, its like a derivative of actual pepper. It's a food product, essentially."

Exactly! Like jalapeno poppers, or queso dip. Delicious. In fact, pepper spray is about 1,000 times hotter than a jalapeno, Mother Jones reports. But Kelly, to her credit, said the pepper spraying looked like an "abrasive" and "intrusive" act.

There's the strangest thing on TV right now, Gridiron being played by semi-scantily dressed women. They keep pulling their pants up, which isfunny. Otherwise....meh

O'Reilly always says asinine things.  He was debating an atheist, and his argument that God existed was that there were tides.  I'm not that sympathetic to atheism but that's just idiotic.

This one wasn't O'Reilly but it was someone on his show.
