Drummond Street near Euston has lots of Indian (veg and non-veg) places which do good buffets. Whitechapel (Pakistani) and Tooting (South Indian/Sri Lankan) are still the best for cheap sub-continental food.

I love Apollo Banana Leaf, probably my favourite south Asian restaurant.

You can't go wrong really but particularly recommend the mutton rolls, chicken 65, squid curry and the coconut rice. Don't forget to take your own beer
